There’s another interview with David Conrad at dose.ca.

For most people, the day they find out they’re going to die is the worst day of their life. But David Conrad’s reaction was one of bemusement.

After three seasons playing Jim Clancy on Ghost Whisperer, the CBS supernatural series about a woman who talks to ghosts, the writers sat down with Conrad and told him that his character was going to die in Season 4. In a shocking episode, Jim is fatally shot, leaving his psychic wife Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to help his spirit cross over to the other side.

“The head writer said, ‘Hey, we really need to have a meeting.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, boy. Here it comes,’” Conrad remembers. “It was funny, actually – he was like, ‘We’re going to kill you off, but… you’re still on the show.’”

Well I guess it’s true. Jamie Kennedy just said on an audio interview that he and Jennifer are dating!

Jamie Kennedy has confessed that he and Ghost Whisperer costar Jennifer Love Hewitt are an item.

“Yes, we are dating,” he said Friday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “Wow, I’ve never said that.” The two had been rumored to be together since she called off her engagement to Ross McCall earlier this year. They have been spotted getting cozy at clubs and hit an Oscar after-party.

Both Kennedy and Love Hewitt recently denied to Usmagazine.com that they were an item. (“Can’t you have a hamburger with a beautiful woman in this town and sing a little karaoke without it being marriage already!” he told Us last month.)

But on Seacrest’s show, Kennedy couldn’t stop gushing about her: “We’re more than dating … we’re more than in love. We have an intense connection,” he said. Making a Twilight reference, he added, “She’s my Bella. I don’t want to bite her neck, but I want her to live.”

This upcoming episode ‘Leap of Faith’ sounds like a pretty heavy episode. Could you tell us what we can expect?
When they told me the whole plot development I thought the two of them would get to know each other again. And start flirting with each other and have a romance. Then you kind of see what happened before the pilot. These two people don’t know each other but obviously have this attraction. It does an interesting thing where they went with the idea that Sam is afraid and after a while it’s his reaction in an opposite way. When he finds out that she can talk to ghosts he freaks out. So they take what you think is possible and figure out a way to loop it back around. He has to confront the thing that’s Jim in him. That’s something that he can’t understand. He’s leaping, it’s sort of him letting Jim leave. So Jim leaves.

When you first heard about this new Jim/Sam story line what was going through your head?
I’m going to have to look for a job, was the first thing [laughing]! They were very clearly like, look, something strange is going to happen but you’re still going to work here. And I was like okay. The thing that I liked about it was that after four seasons it was cool to do something different. For Jennifer and I to be able to do something out of the normal thing that we’ve gotten used to. You get to see him look at her with open eyes. And that was going to be interesting.

The rumours just won’t stop, so I decided to post one of the articles.

“Ghost Whisperer” co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy reportedly are embarking on a love relationship. Star Magazine claims Jennifer has been seeking solace from Jamie after ending her engagement to Ross McCall. And as time goes by, their close bond has blossomed into a romance.

“Jennifer and Jamie have grown incredibly close since he joined the cast of her show last fall. They hit it off right away, and her feelings for him have only grown stronger,” a source tells Star. “She’s trying to keep her relationship with Jamie a secret, telling people they’re just friends, but she can’t hide her true feelings.”

The source goes on revealing, “They work together all day and hang out most nights. And when they aren’t together, they’re constantly on the phone … Jamie makes (her) laugh, which she really appreciates after crying over Ross the last few months.” Greater than that, it is said that Jamie joined Jennifer for her 30th birthday last month.
