Jennifer’s mother is proud of her ”empowering” new role as a prostitute in ‘The Client List’ prostitute

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s mum is “proud” of her latest role is as a prostitute.

The 31-year-old actress – who plays a homecoming queen-turned-prostitute in upcoming movie ‘The Client List’ – admits playing the racy part is “empowering”.

She revealed: “My mom’s like, ‘I’m so proud. You’re pole dancing and you’re going to play a prostitute. Awesome!”

Jennifer – who received harsh criticism for her weight in 2009 after pictures of her in a bikini surfaced – added taking pole dancing classes for the role proved a great way to shape up.

She told ET Online: “It really, really gets you in shape and it also really teaches you about your inner sexuality.”

Jennifer visited ABC’s The View on Wednesday and talked about an ex who cheated on her for a year and a half.

She didn’t identify the culprit but said she found out when she checked his e-mail. “I was really curious, I knew in my gut that something was going on,” she said. Hewitt has dated Carson Daly, John Mayer, professional kayaker Brad Ludden and Jamie Kennedy. She was engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall from 2007 to 2009.

It is now over – no more Ghost Whisperer on TV.  ABC is not going to send another season of out favorite series.

There were talks that the Jennifer Love Hewitt vehicle would move to ABC but those rumors have been nixed by Executive Producers Kim Moses and Ian Sander. “After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce ‘Ghost Whisperer’ will not be returning for a sixth season,” the EPs said in a statement.

Never fear, JLW fans! She will be hitting the screen in Marc Erlbaum’s drama “Cafe” later this year, which tells the story of tragedy striking a small community and the realization of how the lives of regular cafe customers are entwined.

Fresh off of a cross country flight from New York City, Jennifer Love Hewitt was all smiles as arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (May 26).

Toting her pillow in her arms, the “Ghost Whisperer” actress headed down an escalator and out to an awaiting car while nearly tripping over her untied shoelaces.

In related news, Jen recently visited The View where she spoke about her dealings with a cheating boyfriend, telling, “I was really curious, I knew in my gut that something was going on.”

Continuing on, the brunette beauty adds, “I checked, and I found that out of the almost two year relationship, for a year and a half, he had been having relationships not just with one woman, but a few.”

As for what tipped her off, Miss Love Hewitt dished, “He was caring more about his appearance, [he started] to work out more… where is that coming from?”
